Gulf City, the largest mall in South Trinidad, and also one of the largest in the entire country, has been one of the prime commercial properties in the Southland for more than twenty years.

Over the past few years properties around the mall have been further developed, mostly with new restaurant/liming venues. The most recent of these is TGIFriday's, the third local outlet of this popular American franchise.
