This photo of St. Patrick's RC church on Maraval Road was taken not long before those rain clouds burst. The church serves the Parish of New Town, which was created in 1856. Before the current building was constructed an old wooden structure had served as the parish church from that year.

On the same compound as the church there are primary schools for boys and girls.

Hey, this is weird. The two circles look like eyes and the 'shutters' look like an open mouth.. But, great picture as always.
