Going Home

This wasn't the photo I went here to get. I'd hoped for a closeup view of the building illuminated by the evening sun. The lighting wasn't quite right though, but this evening scene still presented itself.

The building at left is “City Gate”, the central hub for public buses in the city. It was originally the train station, but I'll talk more about that when I have the photo I'd originally gone looking for.

In the evening there's a constant stream of pedestrians heading into City Gate for their commute home, as well as vehicular traffic trying to get out of the city. And the policeman directing traffic? Well, nine times out of ten he's more of a nuisance than a help, but I guess it's at least keeping him occupied.
