Maracas Bay

Maracas Bay

This photo gives an excellent sense of Maracas, the long stretch of palm-fringed sand, against the backdrop of the densely forested Northern Range.

These mountains give the photo a different dimension, in that most seaside photos are set against a blue sky background. I thought this was unique and also quite appealing.

I took this photo from out on the jetty, looking back inland and along the beach.

Wonderful photo. I like the countless palmtrees, and how the excellent lighting creates three plans.
