Banana Flower

When I was in Tobago in March the banana trees were in bloom. Though Tobago has a strong agricultural heritage, and a sizeable percentage of the population still earn their living through agriculture, there aren't any large crop plantations as there are on some of the other islands. Most of these trees grow along the roadside, in empty lots or people's gardens.

Wonderful colors! Though they are lots of banana trees 'round here, I haven't catched it yet at this stage.
